Location: 2nd Floor of Block D

Responsible: Prof. Dr. Luiz Alfredo Rodrigues Pereira

The Plant Molecular Biology Laboratory of the Department of Botany at UnB began to be structured in 2004, with the return of Prof. Luiz A. R. Pereira, from his doctorate in Canada.

The LBMP/BOT has excellent infrastructure to support undergraduate, postgraduate and research teaching, mainly on plants from the Cerrado biome. The LBMP/BOT infrastructure is composed of: Ultrafreezer, real time PCR machine, 2 thermocyclers, 2 microcentrifuges, vats for electrophoresis, documenting gel, spectrophotometer, 1 real time PCR, hybridization oven, bacteriological ovens, sterilization oven and fume hoods. exhaustion, among others.
